Salary Range: $50.00 To $50.00 Hourly
Everytown’s Digital Advocacy team is seeking a part‑time, temporary digital professional to assist with email and SMS production throughout the 2026 election cycle. The ideal candidate will be available to work 15 hours a week, predominantly in the afternoons.
Anticipated Dates of Employment :
September 1 – November 10, 2026
Pay Rate : $50 / hour
In this role, you will be:
- Loading and proofing Action Kit emails on behalf of both the Advocacy and Supporter Growth & Cultivation teams
- Monitoring and replying to responses in our Ascend SMS inbox on behalf of both the Advocacy and Supporter Growth & Cultivation teams
- Drafting some Advocacy-related email and SMS, as needed
The ideal candidate should have:
- 1+ year experience building advocacy emails in Action Kit or a similar CRM
- 1+ year experience building advocacy SMS broadcasts in Ascend, Mobile Commons, or a similar platform
- Some familiarity with c3, c4, and PAC entity guidelines and their implications
- Exceptional copywriting, copy editing, proofreading, and communications skills
- Excellent project management skills and a proven ability to thrive under tight deadlines
