- High school diploma or GED required.
- Within 120 days of employment, completes a state‑approved nursing assistant training program & becomes certified.
- Six months experience in a long‑term care environment preferred.
- Complete 16 hours of classroom education then complete skills checks for clinical areas for which job expectations include.
NOTE:
A Nursing Assistant enrolled in a nursing program may be compensated differently based upon the clinical education received.
