This position is a hybrid role open to candidates in the greater Tampa Bay area. The intern will work in our Clearwater, FL office 4 days a week (Monday‑Thursday).
Dates of Program: August 24, 2026 - November 13, 2026 (12 weeks)

As a Sales Development Representative Intern, you will view business through the lens of the world’s largest integrated security awareness training platform. The internship exposes you to real sales conversations, prospecting, and learning how to find, clean, and engage new accounts to become KnowBe4 customers. You will work alongside current SDRs and interface with Account Executives you deliver to.
Key Responsibilities- Map company structure and verify information to identify viable accounts
- Identify appropriate contacts within those accounts
- Learn critical prospecting conversation elements for qualification calls
- Role‑play to practice conversation best practices, mirroring, labeling, and objection handling
- Conduct calls and emails to secure demo bookings
- Schedule and hand off demo‑ready leads to quota‑carrying Sales Representatives
- Organize, clean, prospect, and maintain the CRM database
- Shadow SDRs with prospective customers to develop conversation skills
- Listen to demo calls from Account Executives of varying tenure
- Collaborate with cross‑functional sales teams to understand the business model
- Understand the Sales Roadmap to Success
- Gain knowledge of the IT industry and the role of security awareness training
- Master the full sales prospecting process
- Execute a successful sales handoff from prospecting efforts
- Apply negotiation skills effectively
- Translate classroom learning into practical internship applications
- Attend professional development events specific to the internship program
- Receive on‑the‑job training in best sales prospecting practices
- Spend time with inspiring sales leaders committed to ongoing training and mentoring
