Job Overview
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for safely performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in one or more fields including carpentry, paint, electrical, janitorial equipment, HVAC, vehicle/golf cart, etc.
Roles & Responsibilities- Self-starter with leadership and problem-solving skills
- Perform routine and predictive maintenance
- Perform general cleaning and maintain a clean work area
- Mechanically inclined with ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment, electrical, and mechanical issues and then repair
- Comfortable communicating complex issues with superiors, co-workers, and customers in a professional manner
- Proven ability to work safely in industrial environments
- Familiar with and utilize proper lockout/tagout safety procedures
- Perform preventative equipment maintenance and repairs on all floor equipment, scrubbers, chariot vacuums, extractors, etc.
- Respond positively to requests in a timely manner
- Ability to use hand and power tools, scissor lifts, ladders, and scaffolding; soldering and welding are pluses
- Maintain maintenance logs and schedules
Maintenance Technician
QualificationTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job safely.
- Six months minimum experience in a company environment or equivalent experience and/or training such as basic plumbing, painting, HVAC, or construction
- Two years electrical experience minimum
- High school diploma or GED or a combination of training and experience preferred
- Must complete all safety, environmental, and task training and/or certifications
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
May be required to have a valid driver’s license. Forklift and electric pallet jack certification may be required.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Demands & Work Environment- Employee is frequently required to sit and talk or listen and must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Mon.–Fri 7am–3:30pm
$17.00–$18.00 per hour
