Electrical Superintendent
Salary: $120,000–$150,000 annually.
The Electrical Superintendent will oversee field operations across multiple projects. This leadership role is responsible for managing crews, ensuring work quality, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. If needed, housing will be provided.
This is a critical leadership role Hi Power Electric is looking for someone who leads by example, drives quality and builds strong teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all field operations, including scheduling, manpower planning, and material logistics.
- Supervise Foreman, Journeyman, Apprentices, and subcontractors.
- Ensure that all electrical work complies with NEC, local codes, and project specifications.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of project plans, specs, submittals, and schedules.
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and inspectors.
- Monitor field productivity, quality control, and project costs.
- Conduct daily site walks, safety meetings, and inspections.
- Lead site problem solving and troubleshoot installation challenges.
- Provide technical support and guidance to field teams.
- Maintain accurate field documentation, including daily reports and time sheets.
- Licensed journeyman Electrician (Master Electrician )
- 8+ years of electrical construction experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role / superintendent role.
- Deep understanding of the NEC, safety codes, and construction practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and large crews simultaneously.
- Proficiency with project management tools, Microsoft Office, and field technology (tablets, scheduling software).
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA 30 certification required
- Experience managing large commercial or multi-family projects.
- Field-based leadership position; work on active construction sites daily.
- May require travel between multiple job sites
- Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required based on project demands
- PPE (personal protective equipment) must be worn at all times.
