ContractPermanent, Full‑time 40 hours a week
Working HoursBreakfast Club 7:30 am – 9:00 am;
Lunchtime 11:30 am – 1:30 pm;
After‑school 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Monday‑Friday (Extra hours paid for planning, preparation and promotion).
Up to £16 per hour
Key Responsibilities- Lead, direct and support team members to deliver a safe and effective programme.
- Ensure effective communication between venue, team, parents, school, host leisure centre and Central Operations.
- Provide inclusive, fun, and engaging care for children while inspiring them to explore their interests.
- Plan, supervise and deliver structured activities with enthusiasm.
- Implement procedures and policies to maintain safety and responsibility.
- Create memorable, unexpected experiences that delight children and adults.
- Maintain flexibility and celebrate individual talents.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 3 years of management and team‑leading experience.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving and quick‑learning skills.
- Passion for working with children.
- Ability to act as the face of JAG and the primary point of communication with the school.
- Experience promoting the club and increasing bookings.
- Knowledge of child‑care policies, including Keeping Children Safe in Education and compliance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974.
Applicants must provide two references (most recent employer and a childcare setting, if applicable). JAG will conduct the required DBS check. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will progress to the hiring process.
