Overview
Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 per annum (depending on experience and suitability for the role)
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Nursery Deputy Manager to join a well-established nursery setting.
RoleAs Deputy Manager, you will support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the setting, ensuring high standards of care, education, and compliance are consistently met.
Responsibilities- Support the Nursery Manager in daily operations
- Lead and motivate the staff team
- Ensure safeguarding and compliance standards are maintained
- Support staff development and performance management
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Ofsted-approved)
- Strong leadership experience within an Early Years or nursery setting
- Confident with EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and compliance
- Excellent knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
- Experience with staff supervision, mentoring, and rotas
- Strong understanding of day-to-day nursery operations
