Hours: 42.5 hours per week (8:00–17:00, Monday–Friday)

Dominion and Mears Property Services, delivering high‑quality repairs, maintenance, compliance, planned works, and fire risk assessment services. Supporting over 23,500 homes, we complete more than 38,000 repairs, 1,000 void refurbishments, and install 600 kitchens and bathrooms each year.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Roofer to join our team in Ealing, working across occupied and void social housing properties.
Key Responsibilities- Carrying out general roofing repairs across occupied and void properties
- Replacing roof tiles, felt roofing, and timber battens
- Completing chimney repairs and rebuilds
- Installing and repairing flat roofs, including felt and asphalt systems
- Undertaking lead work including flashings, soakers, and valley gutters
- Repairing and installing ridge, verge, and hip tiles
- Guttering and downpipe repairs and replacements
- Installing and maintaining fascias, soffits, and barge boards
- Completing roof insulation works to joists and rafters
- Installing and repairing roof vents, eaves ventilation, and ducting
- Repairing roof lights and skylights
- Responding to emergency callouts following storm damage or leaks
- Identifying defects and recommending remedial works
- Working with reclaimed roofing materials where required
- Ensuring all works meet health and safety standards and Decent Homes requirements
- Accurately recording materials used and time spent on jobs
- Communicating clearly with tenants and site supervisors
- Supporting planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes
- Proven experience in domestic roofing repairs
- Previous social housing experience preferred
- Full UK driving licence

All roles require the right to work in the UK. Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle, candidates must be aged 21 or over, have held a licence for at least 3 months, and have no more than 9 points.
