Salary of £33,000 to £36,000 per annum
Monday to Friday working hours

About the Role:

As a Small Tools Fitter, you will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of small tools and equipment used across the construction and hire sectors.

The successful Small Tools Fitter will diagnose faults, complete preventative maintenance, carry out repairs and ensure all equipment is ready for customer use. Working within a busy depot environment, the Small Tools Fitter will play a key role in maintaining high standards of safety, reliability and customer service.

Daily duties will include:

Servicing and repairing small tools and associated equipment
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
Completing inspections and safety checks
Preparing equipment for hire
Maintaining accurate service records
Supporting workshop efficiency and depot operations

About You:

To be successful as a Small Tools Fitter, you should have:

Previous experience working as a Small Tools Fitter or repairing small tool equipment

Experience with in the hire, construction plant, tool hire or related sectors
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Good understanding of health and safety procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A proactive and reliable approach to work
