Title SPED Case Manager/Interventionist for the School Year - Full-Time
Description Responsible for and committed to supporting the vision and mission of Lakes and Bridges Charter School by working with children with dyslexia utilizing best practices according to LABCS. LABCS SPED Case Managers/Interventionists will have a caseload of students on IEPs and will follow compliance with IEPs. As an Interventionist, you will reinforce the student’s growth mindset and help build the necessary self-esteem required for academic success.
LABCS’s focus is with ongoing professional development for teachers in order to meet the needs of the dyslexic learner.

Current SC Certification in Learning Disabilities or Multi-Categorical. Experience preferred.
Must take the OG Associate Level Training offered at Lakes and Bridges from June 1-12, 2026.
Responsibilities- Write skill-based goals and objectives for particular areas of instruction
- IEPs and lesson plan format.
- Ensure correct implementation of the students’ IEP goals and objectives.
- Plans and provides daily instruction based on Orton-Gillingham principles that meets the individual needs, interests, abilities, and developmental levels of assigned students.
- Plan daily instruction that uses instructional strategies to accommodate individual differences.
- Provide instruction and support which facilitates the participation of students with dyslexia/SLD in the educational process.
- Create classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the academic development of students.
- Understand and utilizes appropriate evaluation instruments and progress monitoring skills approved by the school.
- Communicate with parents/legal guardians regarding the academic performance of the students in IEP meetings.
- Monitor and enhance learning using multiple strategies such as observation of student performance, appropriate questioning techniques, informal assessment, appropriate adjustment of instructional strategies, instructional feedback, and appropriate and sufficient reviews and summaries of content and skills.
- Provide appropriate oversight of the educational plan as outlined in IEP
