The Impact You'll Make

Danfoss is currently hiring for our new Product Engineer at our Easley, SC facility. As our new Product Engineer, you will be part of the technical backbone for our Hydraulic Integrated Circuits (HIC) product line. You will provide critical support to both internal teams and external customers, ensuring the quality and performance of our products. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate across all business functions, from design and testing to manufacturing and quality, making a direct impact on our success and reinforcing our position as our customers' most trusted partner.

What

You’ll Be Doing
  • Serve as the go‑to technical expert for customer service, distributors, and customers on all production and service‑related inquiries.
  • Partner with quality and operations teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement permanent solutions.
  • Lead and manage projects focused on product improvement, cost‑reduction, and standardization.
  • Define and manage test specifications for new products to ensure a smooth and successful production launch.
  • Get hands‑on in our engineering lab, assembling and testing prototypes and supporting the HIC design team with custom manifold design.
  • Create and manage essential quality documentation for prototype builds and engineering changes.
What We're Looking For
  • A natural problem‑solver with strong hands‑on technical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Driven by a desire for continuous improvement and skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experienced with CAD software (Autodesk Inventor or NX Unigraphics preferred).
  • An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working with a wide variety of people.
  • Eager to learn and flexible enough to contribute to many different areas of business.
