Home Matters Caregiving is a caregiver-focused, in-home care agency serving seniors and adults throughout Clemson, Pickens, Oconee, and surrounding Upstate South Carolina communities. We prioritize strong communication, consistent support, and long-term relationships with our caregivers.

Location:

Clemson / Pickens / Oconee County, SC.

Schedule:

Full-time & Part-time. Flexible shifts available. 12‑hour shifts / 36‑hour week preferred.

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers who are committed to providing high‑quality, client‑centered care. Our caregivers play a critical role in helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Provide personal care, including hygiene, grooming, and mobility assistance
  • Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Monitor client safety and report changes to the care team
  • Follow individualized care plans and document daily activities
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience (home care or facility‑based)
  • Must reside in South Carolina
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
  • First Aid certification required per DHEC (paid training provided if needed)
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional
  • Able to meet the physical demands of caregiving, including lifting up to 50 lbs
Compensation & Benefits
  • Starting pay: $17.00 per hour
  • Opportunity for pay increases based on experience, availability, and performance
