The Impact You'll Make

Danfoss in Easley, SC is seeking a 3rd shift Assembler to oversee the complete assembly process within a designated cell, from initial setup to final testing. This position operates Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with opportunities for overtime.

What You’ll Be Doing

Load and position valves into assembly fixtures with precision. Transport valves to designated workstations efficiently. Ensure production targets are consistently achieved. Immediately notify the supervisor of any assembly supply shortages. Carefully interpret and adhere to instructions from engineering blueprints, work instructions, and Engineering Test Orders. Skillfully operate assembly and torque tools. Inspect defective valves and conduct repairs to meet required specifications.

We're Looking For

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Candidates should demonstrate basic math proficiency and strong reading and writing skills. The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Good motor skills are essential. Mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes are necessary. Experience with TPM and SMED methodologies is preferred.

Familiarity with quality and problem-solving tools such as PPAP, capability studies, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 4-Step, 8D, and Fishbone diagrams is expected.
