About the role
Job Summary The Assembler is responsible for putting together component parts or products according to blueprints or schematics. This role ensures that assembled items meet quality standards and supports the production line by maintaining efficiency and accuracy. This job profile is intended for support staff that follows established procedures and works under close supervision. Smaller/easier decisions are made autonomously.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble parts and components using hand tools and equipment.
- Follow technical instructions and blueprints.
- Inspect assembled products for defects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report issues to supervisors.
- Support inventory and materials tracking.
- Follow safety and quality procedures.
- May require basic vocational training (or equivalent work experience) and up to 2 years of relevant experience to carry out the role.
- manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
- Basic mechanical and tool-handling skills.
- Teamwork and communication abilities.
- Willingness to follow procedures and meet production targets.
