Stamping Technician

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Stamping Technician to join our production team. In this hands-on, technical role, you will be responsible for setting parameters, optimizing manufacturing processes, and troubleshooting complex stamping press machinery. This position requires prior manufacturing and machinery tech experience, as you will be directly responsible for maximizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), ensuring process stability, and executing machine setups.

• Set parameters for the manufacturing process to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), throughput times, and process stability.
• Conduct root-cause problem-solving analysis for unstable processes and production interruptions.
• Execute complex die setups, machine start/restart sequences, and system parameter configurations.
• Define and implement corrective measures on machinery, documenting lessons learned to minimize future downtime.
• Carry out equipment acceptances and ensure all systems comply with quality and safety standards.
• Log machining times, deviations, and material consumption within the company ERP system.
• Enforce the 5S methodology (Sort, Straighten, Clean, Standardize, Sustain) at all workstations.

• Prior technical experience working with stamping press machinery or heavy automotive manufacturing systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose process instabilities and implement immediate technical solutions.
• Proven experience reading process documentation, interpreting machine parameters, and working with industrial data logs.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and handle tooling components safely.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or technical training in metalworking/manufacturing is highly preferred.

This is a Permanent position based out of Easley, SC.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
