Key Responsibilities
- Perform all duties as per SC Department of Public Health (DPH)
- Promote a cordial environment for residents, families, visitors and co‑workers; assist in maintaining a “home‑like” environment
- Assist residents with ADLs and answer call lights
- Follow the resident’s care plan or service plan as an instruction guide for how to take care of that resident
- Report changes in residents' condition to the nurse in charge and maintain communication with families of residents
- Complete mandatory documentation in accordance with community policies and state and/or federal regulations
- Maintain residents’ living area by ensuring that it is clean, neat and orderly, and in compliance with DPH mandates
- Comply with all safety and sanitary standards, rules and regulations
- Mandatory work on weekends, holidays and as the resident needs require
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified Nursing Assistant
- CPR certification
- 1–3 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
