Job SummaryThe Product Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that product quality specifications are in compliance with corporate and customer standards. This includes supporting the implementation of QA/QC policies, conducting inspections, and assisting in vendor evaluations. This job profile is intended for support staff that follows established procedures and works under close supervision. Smaller/easier decisions are made autonomously.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect products to ensure compliance with quality specifications and standards.
- Support the implementation of QA/QC policies and procedures.
- Assist in evaluating vendor quality and performance.
- Document inspection results and report deviations.
- Collaborate with QA/QC teams and vendors to enforce quality standards.
- May require basic vocational training (or equivalent work experience) and up to 2 years of relevant experience to carry out the role.
- Basic understanding of quality control procedures and tools.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inspection tasks.
- Ability to follow established procedures and report findings.
- Familiarity with product specifications and documentation.
- Willingness to learn and support quality assurance initiatives.
