As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, build retailer relationships, and act as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed.

Salary and Schedule Details
  • Your starting hourly pay rate will be $13.75 to $15.75 per hour, depending on your skills and experience.
  • We provide paid training, delivered through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom sessions.
  • Part‑time employees may qualify for voluntary benefits such as medical, dental, and vision.

Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.

  • This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
  • Average weekly hours for this position are between 7–10 hours per week.
  • Availability during the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
  • Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
Your Role and Responsibilities

You'll perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The position consists of three major components:

  • Day‑to‑day engagement
    :
    Utilizing a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. You will use technology for communication with supervisors, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing required merchandising surveys.
  • Holiday support
    :
    You may work additional days and extended hours during holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. On some holidays you may be required to work on the actual holiday itself, including weekends.
  • Department resets
    :
    You may be part of a team responsible for installations, relocations of Hallmark fixtures, and resetting card sections. Assignments are typically announced two weeks in advance and may include evenings or weekends.
Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the day and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also need to kneel, squat, walk, and stand frequently, and may need to climb stairs or step ladders.

Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Skill in operating a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
  • Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
