Over the past four years, Renovation Church has grown from a church of 500 to over 3,000 people and moving to multiple locations in the north metro of Minnesota. About the roleRenovation Church is coming to East Bethel in early 2027!
In support of this new location, we are looking to hire a Children's Pastor who passionate about providing kids (age 0-5th grade) with a fun and engaging environment where they will enjoy spending time with friends and learning about Jesus every single week.
This position is a regular, part-time role (20-hours per week). The compensation for this role will be $25.
What you'll get to doWith support of the East Bethel Location Pastor and the Central Children's Ministry Leader, who will help ensure the overall health, continued improvement, and enrichment of the ministry, you will:
Be a Key Leader for Children's Ministry- Provide vision and leadership for the East Bethel Children’s Ministry, actively identifying areas of improvement.
- Responsible for overseeing, enforcing, and refining all Children’s Ministry standards
- Develop and utilize frameworks to cultivate and respond to Children’s Ministry feedback
- Recruit, train, and manage all ministry volunteers, providing support and encouragement when needed
- Identify and develop leaders to support volunteers and carry out ministry tasks
- Lead all Children’s Ministry communication and training throughout the year
- Maintain a personal, growing, and mature relationship with Jesus Christ
- Must be in alignment with Renovation Church’s Statement of Faith
- Demonstrate a humble and teachable attitude
- Demonstrate integrity and consistency in public and private life
- High commitment and personal involvement with the local church
- Must be a reliable self-starter, delegator, adaptable leader, and team player
- Ability to see refinements needed and activate changes
- Has a strong ability to organize and follow through with ongoing tasks
- Has demonstrated ability to oversee complex administration over multiple areas
- Ability to recruit, train, and manage qualified volunteers
- A minimum of 1 year of experience directly working in Children’s Ministry, or comparable experience
- Ability to navigate church or facility buildings, often including steps
- Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, and bending
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
