With a manageable caseload, youll utilize your specialized training to assess, instruct, and inspire learners at various developmental stages while working in a supportive educational environment.
Qualifications:- Valid MA Reading Specialist certification required
- Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students in a reading intervention or specialist setting
- Deep understanding of evidence-based reading strategies and assessment tools
- Strong communication and collaborative skills to partner with classroom teachers and families
- Organizational abilities to manage documentation and individualized student plans
- Provide targeted reading instruction and interventions to a caseload of 27 students across grade levels K-12
- Administer reading assessments, interpret data, and develop individualized instructional plans
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to identify students needs and offer guidance on instructional strategies
- Regularly monitor student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain timely records
- Support family engagement by sharing resources and strategies to reinforce reading development at home
- Participate in professional development and school meetings, contributing your expertise to the broader school community
