Job Overview

Electrical Estimator – Commercial Construction

• Create estimates for commercial projects in core markets including healthcare, advanced technology, bio‑pharmaceutical, and corporate office.
• Develop conceptual budgeting, design development, and construction document estimating (quantification and pricing).
• Interact with subcontractor community and present estimates/budgets to owners and consultants.
• Prepare and analyze (scope) electrical bid packages.
• Collaborate closely with the Orlando regional management team and pre‑construction estimating team.

• 3–10 years of experience as a commercial construction electrical estimator within DPR’s core market projects.
• Flexible, detail‑oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Excellent listening and communication skills; ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Effective participation in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Timberline and On‑Screen Takeoff is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required.
• Strong work ethic and a “can‑do,” solution‑oriented attitude.
