Job DescriptionThe Project Engineer will join one of our 45 offices in the U.S. and work closely with a team of professionals to support capital projects and deliver high‑quality solutions for our clients. You will collaborate with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject‑matter experts to ensure project success from planning through construction.
What You’ll Do- Support the planning, design, and construction management of design‑build projects under the supervision of a preconstruction manager, construction project manager, or site superintendent.
- Develop project schedules, phasing plans, bid lists, punch lists, and subcontractor notices.
- Manage project budgets, cost forecasts, change orders, cost estimates, and subcontractor invoices.
- Prepare documents such as bids, scopes of work, and safety plans.
- Conduct on‑site safety reviews and subcontractor scope reviews.
- Implement quality control program activities.
- Prequalify vendors and subcontractors; process RFIs, bulletins, and submittals.
- Participate in post‑project reviews and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Construction‑industry experience, with project‑management experience preferred.
- Experience overseeing the building or renovation of facilities in manufacturing, distribution, cold storage, advanced technologies, oil & gas, pharma, or food processing.
- A willingness to travel for project requirements, including installation, start‑up activities, client meetings, and industry events.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- OSHA 10‑ or 30‑hour certification.
The base salary range for this position is $80,000–$110,000. Final compensation will be determined by experience, skills, and location.
