Plumbing Inspector (I.C.S or H.H.S.) – East Brunswick Township
We are accepting applications for a part‑time/full‑time Plumbing Inspector within the Division of Construction Inspection. The successful candidate will perform a variety of duties to inspect building work on new and existing commercial, industrial, and residential buildings and structures to enforce compliance with all building safety laws and codes.
Responsibilities- Inspect building work on new and existing commercial, industrial, and residential buildings and structures.
- Enforce compliance with all building safety laws and codes.
- Considerable knowledge of the N.S.P.C. Code along with all State and Local Regulations that may apply.
- Knowledge of computers.
- Ability to read, write, communicate and understand English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.
- High school diploma.
- Experience preferred.
- Valid New Jersey driver’s license.
- Plumbing Inspector’s License, Industrial and Commercial Structures (I.C.S.) issued by the State of New Jersey.
Applications must be submitted to Employment by July 1st, 2026. The Township reserves the right to hire prior to the closing of posting.
Salary$70,168.22 annually or $40 hourly.
