The Learning Experience – East Brunswick is seeking a dependable Temporary Preschool Teacher to provide classroom coverage while a teacher is on leave. This short-term position is ideal for an experienced educator who can step into an established preschool classroom and maintain consistency, structure, and a positive learning environment.
Our preschool program focuses on early literacy, social-emotional development, and hands‑on learning through a structured, play‑based approach.
Key Responsibilities- Lead daily preschool classroom activities in a safe and engaging environment
- Implement age‑appropriate lessons aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
- Maintain structured routines, transitions, and classroom organization
- Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth
- Communicate professionally with families and team members
- Follow all New Jersey licensing and health and safety standards
- High school diploma or GED required
- Preschool or childcare experience preferred
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable stepping into an established classroom
- Must meet all New Jersey childcare licensing and background requirements
