DescriptionArtheon is seeking a skilled and motivated Professional Stormwater Engineer to join our team in East Brunswick or Neptune, NJ. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects in land development, infrastructure design, and municipal engineering. Design and Drafting:
- Develop civil engineering designs, including site layouts, grading, drainage and utilities using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D).
Permitting and Compliance:
- Prepare and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Project
Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs.
Technical Reports:
- Create engineering reports, feasibility studies, and calculations to support project design and decision-making.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in civil engineering design, preferably in land development or municipal projects.
Technical Proficiency:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, HEC-RAS and other relevant engineering software; knowledge of stormwater management software is a plus.
Licensing:
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required;
Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus or a willingness to obtain it.
Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
The base salary range for this role is indicated in the posting. This range reflects the company’s good faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location.
