International Trade Services Analyst Senior

As an International Trade Services Analyst Senior within PNC's International Trade Service & Delivery Group, Documentary Collections Team, you will work from PNC's East Brunswick, New Jersey location.

In this operations role, you will support the processing and servicing of international documentary collections, including import and export collections, in accordance with established procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable reviewing complex trade and shipping documentation. Responsibilities include reviewing and processing documentary collection transactions, examining documents and collection instructions, handling payments and settlements, communicating with internal partners and correspondent banks, and ensuring transactions are processed accurately and within established service-level expectations.

Candidates should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive transactions, and the ability to learn and navigate international trade systems and operational procedures.

Knowledge or experience with international trade, imports and exports, Documentary Collections, URC 522, Incoterms 2020, SWIFT messaging, payment processing, and Global Trade Systems (GTS) is preferred. Experience reviewing commercial and transport documents such as invoices, bills of lading, drafts, and collection instructions is a plus.

Utilizes international trade-specific procedures, rules, guidelines and regulations. Evaluates and executes basic to moderate transactions. May approve international trade services transactions and processes. May have specific responsibility for one or multiple specialized products or functional areas.

Processes basic to moderate trade transactions of varying risk and financial value in accordance with procedures, rules, guidelines and regulations. Identify exceptions and may address escalated items under supervision. Interacts with internal and external stakeholders in completing transactions.

Administers trade compliance program against all trade transactions and escalates as necessary in order to mitigate bank risk.

Provides responses and documentation to inquiries and ad hoc requests for basic to moderate international trade products.

Verifies work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy and conformance to established service levels and applicable policies and procedures. May review reports to process transactions.
