Position Type:
Full Time Education Level: High School Salary Range: $19.00 - $20.67 Hourly Conducts initial Social Determinants of Health screenings for individuals in jail and community settings and provides orientation to Diversion Support Services. Delivers peer support services grounded in lived experience using evidence based practices, including Mary Copeland’s Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) and principles consistent with Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (FACT).
Provides services in office based and community based settings, including field based outreach and engagement. Utilizes agency vehicles to transport clients, when clinically indicated, to identified needs such as treatment appointments, housing resources, benefits offices, and other recovery related services. Facilitates both individual and group interventions focused on recovery planning, self advocacy, relapse prevention, and community reintegration. Demonstrates competency in age responsive service delivery and applies structured assessment skills to interpret consumer status, identify functional needs, and coordinates appropriate supports to promote stability and reduce justice system involvement.
This position is Full Time, Monday – Friday, with some evening and weekend hours required.

High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (preferred) with lived experience in mental health or substance abuse as well as lived experience in the justice system. Must either have a certification to work as a peer specialist or be willing to obtain one within 6 months of employment. Experience working with population preferred. Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Excellent interpersonal skills. Must have a valid driver's license in good standing with no more than 2 moving violations within the last three years and no license suspensions.
