We are seeking an experienced Mule Soft Integration Engineer to design, build, and operate enterprise integration solutions on the Mule Soft Anypoint Platform. In this role you will own the integration lifecycle, including API design, flow development, deployment, observability, and ongoing optimization. The ideal candidate will combine deep hands‑on Mule Soft experience with strong API‑led connectivity practices, and will partner with enterprise architects, application teams, and integration partners to deliver reliable, secure, and reusable integration assets.

You will work closely with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into well‑engineered solutions, and will be expected to raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of junior engineers.

• Design and develop integration flows in Mule Soft Anypoint Studio, including Data Weave transformations, error handling, and reusable connectors.
• Apply API‑led connectivity (System, Process, Experience APIs) to deliver reusable, composable integration assets.
• Design and publish well‑documented APIs using API Designer and the Anypoint Exchange.
• Configure and manage runtimes (Cloud Hub, Runtime Fabric, Hybrid) appropriate to workload requirements.
• Implement strong API security using OAuth2, mTLS, JWT, and Anypoint API Manager policies.
• Build event‑driven integrations using Anypoint MQ, Salesforce Platform Events, or Kafka.
• Optimize integration performance, including pooling, caching, parallel processing, and message size management.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for Mule Soft applications using Maven, Anypoint CLI, Git Hub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Migrate legacy integrations from other middleware (Oracle SOA, Biz Talk) to Mule Soft.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting using Anypoint Monitoring and external observability tools.
• Maintain comprehensive, current technical documentation—architecture diagrams, design decisions, configuration references, runbooks, and operational procedures—to ensure the system remains supportable, auditable, and easy to onboard new engineers.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to internal integration patterns and standards.
• Collaborate closely with security, enterprise architecture, and application development teams, gathering requirements, aligning on technical approach, and ensuring that delivered solutions meet functional and broader engineering and operational standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of integration experience with strong focus on Mule Soft Anypoint Platform.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Anypoint Studio, Data Weave, and Mule runtime.
• Solid understanding of API‑led connectivity and RAML/OAS API design.
• Hands‑on experience with Cloud Hub, Runtime Fabric, or Hybrid deployment.
• Experience with API security standards (OAuth2, mTLS, JWT) and Anypoint API Manager.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD for Mule Soft.
• Familiarity with event‑driven integration using Anypoint MQ or Kafka.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience integrating with major SaaS platforms (Salesforce, SAP, Workday, Service Now).

• Mule Soft Certified Developer or Architect credentials.
• Exposure to multi‑cloud deployment of Mule runtimes.
• Familiarity with Fin Ops and integration cost management.
• Experience implementing zero‑trust API security models.
• Working knowledge of GraphQL APIs on Anypoint Platform.
