Instructional Aide (Part-Time)
St. Stanislaus Catholic School is a faith-filled, family-centered PK8 school serving a diverse, vibrant, historically underserved Hispanic community in East Chicago with a 125-year tradition of education and service. The Instructional Aide will play a flexible and essential role in supporting classroom instruction, student supervision, and school-wide needs.
This position requires someone who is highly adaptable and willing to move fluidly between classrooms, grade levels, and responsibilities based on daily school needs.
The Instructional Aide is a visible supporter of the mission of St. Stanislaus Catholic School and should demonstrate commitment to Catholic values and a positive, student-centered approach.
The ideal candidate will exhibit the following:
- High flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to shift between roles and responsibilities throughout the school day
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Willingness to support wherever needed in the building (classrooms, small groups, supervision, etc.)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Professionalism, patience, and consistency with students

- A student-first mindset with a strong sense of service
This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced school environment and enjoys being a key support presence across multiple settings.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Willing to complete required CCDF training/eligibility steps
- Experience working with children preferred
- Strong character, reliability, and willingness to learn are essential
