Trillium Construction is seeking a Manual Machinist in East Chicago, IN!
The Manual Machinist will be setting up and operating manual vertical and horizontal mills (up to 40" diameter capacity) and drill presses to produce precision parts in a fast-paced shop. Must be able to work independently, read prints, and hold tight tolerances.
Pay rate is up to $34/hour DOE per hour with $770/week per diem for travelers. Schedule is Mon - Fri with overtime potential. 1st shift.
Qualifications- 3+ years of manual machining experience (mills & drill presses)
- Strong ability to read blueprints and do math calculations off drawings
- Own precision measuring tools (at least 6‑inch OD/s)
- Ability to pass pre‑screenings
