Staff Registered Nurse

The staff registered nurse is responsible for implementing, directing, communicating and documenting the nursing process and provides a safe environment for patients, visitors and employees.

• Documents a physical assessment of patient.
• Communicates with patients, families and/or significant others in an effort to individualize patient's plan of care to them.
• Demonstrates proficiency in the monitoring, recording and interpretation of ECG tracing and hemodynamic waveforms.
• Accurately and monitors charges for all supplied used during procedures with hospital standards.
• Assure Cath Lab rooms are clean and stocked for next day cases at the end of the day.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed as a professional nurse by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
• A BSN degree is desirable.
• Successful completion of the Community Healthcare System's Personnel and Nursing Orientation Programs.
• Obtains and maintains current certification in BLS, and other certifications as required in specialty areas.
