CNC Milling Machinist | 3rd Shift

Position Details

Pay rate + 17% Shift Differential

Shift: Mon - Fri 10:30pm-7:00am

• 3+ years of experience machining in an aerospace environment.
• Three or more years of experience setting up and operating CNC Devlieg Milling Machines.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls; willing to cross‑train on various operations/equipment.
• Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of GD&T.
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Willingness to learn basic CNC programming.

• Perform complex setups, edits and operate established and NPI jobs with minimal supervision ensuring parts conform to specifications and requirements. Make modifications or adjustments as necessary.
• Verify dimensions using standard measuring instruments such as micrometers, depth gauges, height gauges, and vernier calipers.
• Read and interpret blueprints and operation sheets.
• Work with engineering regarding material conditions, optimal part positioning, tool pressure, etc. as required.
• Detect faulty operations and materials and report these along with other problems to immediate supervisor.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
