Job Description
- Work per standard operating procedures in Testing Optical Fibers
- Document the manufacturing process as required
- Perform basic equipment maintenance & calibration
- Assist recommending solutions to technical problems
- May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment
- Assist engineers as needed
- Cross-training in other areas as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years experience in manufacturing / lab environment
- Computer literacy including data entry in Excel
- Ability to see details at close range
- Excellent hand to eye coordination

Quality And Environmental ResponsibilitiesDepending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
