Job Description
The Quality Associate supports the Quality team through documentation management, quality records administration, testing support, inspection activities, and compliance-related tasks. While the role includes hands-on quality activities, a significant portion of the position focuses on maintaining accurate documentation, recording test results, supporting traceability requirements, and ensuring compliance with internal quality procedures. The individual will work closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure quality documentation remains current, complete, and audit-ready.
Responsibilities
+ Manage and maintain accurate quality documentation and records.
+ Administer quality records and support traceability requirements.
+ Conduct and support testing and inspection activities.
+ Ensure compliance with internal quality procedures.
+ Collaborate closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations teams.
+ Prepare documentation to ensure it is audit-ready and compliant.
+ Support quality improvement and efficiency initiatives.
Essential Skills
+ Strong documentation and recordkeeping experience.
+ High attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Ability to maintain organized quality records.
+ Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reports, and test documentation.
+ Ability to read and follow specifications, procedures, and work instructions.
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills.
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
+
Experience with quality assurance and using calipers.
Additional
Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
+ Advanced education preferred but not required.
+ Strong computer and data entry skills.
+ Experience working within structured processes and procedures.
+ Ability to interpret specifications and quality-related documents.
+ Comfortable handling confidential and proprietary information.
+ Strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
+ Experience supporting compliance, quality, or administrative processes is preferred.
Work Environment
The work environment includes a mix of office-based documentation responsibilities and manufacturing floor support within a manufacturing and quality laboratory setting. There is frequent interaction with operators, technicians, engineers, and quality personnel. The role involves exposure to manufacturing equipment, noise, and production operations, with a significant focus on documentation, reporting, testing records, and quality system support within a regulated environment.

This is a Contract position based out of East Granby, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
