Quality Control Specialist II

Under moderate supervision, this role inspects raw materials, in‑process items, and finished goods to ensure technical specifications are met. The specialist identifies defects by conducting visual, measurement, and analytical tests, and provides feedback to production to maintain quality standards.

• Perform visual and measurement inspection tests using micrometers, calipers, comparators, gauge blocks, surface gauges, sine bars and coordinate measuring machines (Zeiss, Mitutoyo, Smart Scope, RAM).
• Calculate distances, angles, radius tapers, thread and gear data and decide acceptance or rejection of parts.
• Approve finished products by confirming specifications, performing tests, and returning items for re‑work when necessary.
• Read and interpret complex technical drawings with tight tolerances, incorporating them into the inspection process.
• Analyze statistical data with Infinity or other SPC software, document results, and maintain product reliability.
• Operate and troubleshoot inspection equipment, report issues to leadership, and act as the go‑to person for quality control procedures.
• Train employees on inspection tools, techniques, GD&T, and technical drawings.
• Lead internal audits to meet company and customer quality standards and direct other inspectors when requested.
• Perform duties across all shifts and days as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
• 2‑4 years of product inspection experience.
• Proficiency in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Intermediate math and measurement calculation skills.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to solve problems, make judgments, and work with diverse teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Qualified status on multiple precision inspection tools.
• Detail‑oriented and able to perform tasks with basic language proficiency.

Monday – Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm EST. Day‑shift training for 4‑6 weeks.

Hourly USD 23.92 – 28.95, commensurate with experience, skills and education.
