- The Central Cake Manager at Hugo's Family Marketplace is responsible for overseeing the cake decoration process, ensuring high-quality standards, and providing exceptional customer service. This role involves managing inventory, training staff, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The Central Cake Manager will collaborate with the team to create visually appealing and delicious cakes that meet customer expectations and contribute to the bakery's success.

• Lead and manage the cake decoration process using various tools, techniques, icing, fondant, and other elements to create visually stunning cakes.
• Interact with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent service, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Uphold quality standards in all cake products, ensuring consistency and excellence.
• Manage inventory, including supplies and ingredients, to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
• Train and develop team members in cake decoration techniques and best practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the team to foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and continuously learn new techniques to enhance cake decoration offerings.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, promoting a safe working environment for all staff.

High school diploma or equivalent

Formal culinary education is a plus but not usually required.

• No prior experience required; willing to train candidates with a passion for cake decoration.
