Rocky Hill Country Day School seeks a highly qualified Staff Accountant.
Start Date:
As soon as possible
- Accounts Payable – responsible for entering and processing invoices and issuing payments.
- Reconcile – Cash, Credit Cards and Petty Cash funds.
- Payroll – process payroll to accurately compensate employees.
- Human Resources – Tax forms, benefit enrollment/cancellations.
- Support month and year end close processes.
- Ensure all transactions follow legal standards.
- Assist with Business Office functions and reports, as needed.
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of professional accounting or full‑cycle bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Be capable of meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Maintain an open, communicative, and collaborative style with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate excellent judgment, strong moral fiber, loyalty, and responsiveness.
- Possess finance, accounting, organizational, and analytical business skills.
- Possess strong attention to detail, facility with data, and solid organizational skills.
