Spanish Teacher

East Greenwich Public Schools is seeking to hire a Spanish Teacher for a 1-year only position. The goal of the Spanish Teacher is to ensure that students are meeting grade-level standards and curriculum by instructing students not meeting standards.

Essential duties and responsibilities include managing student behaviors in the classroom, maintaining discipline, encouraging and monitoring student progress, and planning a program of study that meets individual student needs. The teacher will also create a classroom environment conducive to learning, prepare for classes, and employ a variety of instructional techniques and media. Additionally, the teacher will assess student accomplishments, maintain accurate records, assist in implementing school policies, and perform other duties as assigned by the building principal.
