Job DescriptionEast Greenwich Public Schools is accepting applications for Substitute Teachers.
The substitute teacher will provide an atmosphere and environment conducive to the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of individuals to ensure success for every student.
Required:
- 1. Experience working within a classroom setting.
- 2. Enjoys working with students.
- 3. Maintain the established routines and procedures of the school and classroom to which you are assigned.
- 4. Follow the lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher or building administrator.
- 7. Able to communicate with administration and others to gain assistance or guidance when needed.
- 8. Flexibility.
- 9. Must be able to establish a good rapport with students.
- 10. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- 11. Must be organized, take direction.
- 12. Punctuality and reliability are critical and mandatory for this position.
- 13. Clear communicator. Good written and verbal communication skills.
- 15. Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
At least 2 years of college is required.
A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
RIDE Teaching certification preferred - At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
