Nurse Supervisor - RN or LPN Position Overview

Full Time, Evenings, Monday – Friday with on‑call responsibilities.

Saint Elizabeth Community seeks an experienced nurse supervisor to oversee the evening shift. The role ensures the safety and well‑being of residents, supports the nursing staff, and maintains a high standard of care across the campus and Greenhouse homes.

• Supervise nursing staff throughout the campus, including Greenhouse homes.
• Provide guidance, education, and training to staff as needed.
• Address performance issues and conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure adequate staffing to meet resident needs and respond to call‑outs.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment, following all safety protocols.
• Conduct regular rounds of the campus, floating between the Main building and Greenhouse homes.
• Assist floor nurses with admissions, discharges, and changes in resident status.

• RN preferred; must have experience in a long‑term care setting.
• Minimum 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role within long‑term care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage conflicts and difficult situations with residents, families, and staff.
• Expected to participate in an on‑call rotation, being on call for a week every 7–8 weeks.
