Position: Green House Homes Shahbaz (CNA: Certified Nursing Assistant)

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Full‑time and part‑time evening shifts (3 pm–11:30 pm or 4 pm–8 pm).

Pay: $23.66 – $24.43 per hour (based on experience) plus $1.50 per hour evening and night shift differential.

Green House Homes Shahbaz – a warm, loving, small 12‑bedroom home that values dignity, purpose, and love.

Responsibilities
  • Be a member of a self‑managed team and provide care for our elders, including cooking, laundry, housekeeping and personal care.
  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living and meet other needs, protecting, sustaining and nurturing the elders.
  • Assist elders in a manner that promotes a high quality of life and a positive elderhood.
  • Act as a primary partner to the elders in day‑to‑day life and care, building close and consistent relationships.
  • Follow the elder’s care plan and report status and changes in condition to the clinical support team.
  • Manage daily household functions—meals, housekeeping, laundry services.
  • Engage elders in daily meaningful activities of interest to enhance their life.
Qualifications
  • Current and valid CNA license in Rhode Island.
  • At least 1 year of CNA experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to use an electronic medical records system.
  • Must have completed or be willing to complete a Basic First Aid course and a Serve Safe course.
