About This Role
KOCO Child Care Center in East Hampton, CT is looking for a full time experienced Toddler Teacher. The hours are 7:00-3:00 or 8:00-4:30, and pay starts at $16.95/hour (higher with ECE credits). Successful candidates have experience and/or education in early childhood, have an understanding of curriculum and CT-ELDS, are reliable, and can cooperate with a partner teacher. Position is available immediately.
WhatYou'll Do
- Cooperate with co-teacher
- Interact with parents and junior staff
- Facilitate learning for up to 8 students ages 2 years
- Generate lesson plans using a variety of resources
- Understand and employ CT-ELDS
- At least 18 years old
- Experience in early childhood education, preferably Under 3
- Good work ethic, reliable attendance
- Ability to cooperate with others
- CT OEC Registry Account
- CT OEC BCIS Background Check
- First Aid CPR AED (CT Childcare version)
- Medication Administration
- College credits in Early Childhood Education
- Paid time off (including major holidays)
