This position is a hybrid position based out of our East Hartford, Connecticut campus location.

A unique opportunity to own the accounting for a complete entity in Commercial Engines. Leasing is a dynamic aspect of the Commercial Business and there are many opportunities to grow and learn through the interesting strategies the business is pursuing. The role interacts with operations, technical accounting, collaboration accounting, tax, RTX Enterprise Services, the Fixed Assets team and more. The Accounting Manager, PW1100 Leasing, is responsible for all accounting related to the P&W Engine Leasing Joint Venture for the PW1100J-GM engine including:

• Monthly Journal Entries for lease revenue and charges including sharing with collaborators.
• Sale of assets out of the entity and I/Co relationship with IAE LLC.
• Invoicing preparation for all engines on lease to customers.
• Reconciliations of past invoices to assist in the preparation of Special Support for customers.
• Quarterly balance sheet presentations to executive management.
• Monthly Account Reconciliation and Accounting Controls Reviews.
• Yearly impairment reviews.
• Annual Accounting Controls assessment.
• Dividend payments to JV Partners.
• Projects to improve invoicing and find opportunities to incorporate AI are abundant.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 8+ years of experience in accounting or finance; OR an advanced degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience closing books, booking JE’s and performing account reconciliations.
• Strong communication skills – able to communicate to all levels of management confidently and concisely.
• Detailed, analytical and well organized – the business moves rapidly and the candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to access to restricted systems/tools.

• Business Warehouse experience.
• SAP and One Stream experience.
• Experience with accounting for Leases.
• A willingness to create strong relationships with the team within and outside of the immediate group.
