The Automotive Sales Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in East Hartford, CT, supporting the sales team and ensuring an efficient, customer-focused sales process. This role manages sales documentation, prepares quotes and purchase agreements, and maintains accurate records in CRM and inventory systems. The Automotive Sales Administrator coordinates vehicle deliveries and logistics, schedules customer appointments, and communicates with internal departments to facilitate timely service and upfits.
Daily responsibilities include processing payments, handling registration and title paperwork, and responding to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person. The role also assists with reporting, basic sales analysis, and general administrative tasks to support location performance and a positive customer experience.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, including experience with scheduling, document management, and data entry.
- Proficiency with computer systems and software such as CRM tools, inventory management platforms, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, team members, and external partners.
- Basic sales support and coordination skills, including preparing quotes, processing orders, and assisting with reporting.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling contracts, registration, title paperwork, and financial transactions.
- Ability to work on-site in East Hartford, CT, manage multiple priorities, and support a fast-paced retail environment.
- Prior experience in automotive, mobility solutions, or related retail or service industries is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in business, administration, or a related field is beneficial.
