The Pratt & Whitney Military Engines organization has an immediate remote opportunity for a Principal Specialist, Military Engines – General Finance. This will be a hybrid position based at our East Hartford, Connecticut campus location.
What You Will DoThe team will be responsible for all analytical, financial, operational, and contracting activities required to progress from today’s pre‑Head of Agency (HOA) state through a negotiated Multi Year Procurement (MYP) agreement.
Key Responsibilities Include- Financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Pricing and estimating (ROM and formal proposal).
- Volume and demand planning.
- Investment and capacity modeling.
- Supply chain integration and supplier flowdown.
- Contract T&Cs strategy and proposal development.
- Cross‑functional integration across Ops, SC, Finance, Programs, and Sustainment.
- Support for executive briefings.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required with at least 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance; OR a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Working experience in Financial Modeling, Business Case Development, Forecasting, Sensitivity Analysis, Linear Modeling, Machine Learning.
- Strong MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment to deliver accurate reporting to internal and external customers, including senior leadership.
- Strong data analytics skills and interpersonal skills with ability to work with individuals and/or team at all levels.
- Organizational skills with strong written and verbal communication.

Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
