Customer Service Representative

Our client, a social services organization dedicated to supporting community well-being, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be part of the customer support department supporting program applicants and recipients. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, empathy, and a dedicated work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Shift:
** Monday - Friday (8:00 to 4:30), Weekends OFF!

** What's the Job?*
* + Answering inbound calls from program applicants and recipients related to social service programs.

+ Accurately documenting all interactions with callers.

+ Following scripts to ensure proper procedures are adhered to.

+ Providing clear, complete, accurate, and objective information based on a full understanding of program requirements.

+ Communicating trends in caller questions and concerns to call center leadership.

** What's Needed?*
* + Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

+ High School Diploma or equivalent;  
** six months minimum experience in a call center environment;
** associate degree or higher can be substituted.

+ Ability to pass a 30 wpm typing test.

+ Successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
