Bilingual Tutor

Salary: $24.04 per hour Candidates for this position must be bilingual in Spanish. • Bachelor's Degree
• Direct classroom experience with children, Pre-K to Twelve
• Fluent in English and Spanish languages, both written and oral, preferred but not required

Building principal and/or K-12 Supervisor of World Languages, Gifted & Talented, ESL and Bilingual Programs

Provides support to specialized area of instruction as specified in the State of Connecticut Priority School District Grant

Provides assistance in basic skills. Tutors small group instruction. Monitors homework centers. Reinforces study and organizational skills. Interacts with parents, teachers and other support staff. Assists with conflict resolution and peer mediation sessions. Other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor of ESL/Bilingual or the building principal.
