What You Will Do
- Ensure industrial plans and supportability for Pratt & Whitney internal & external shops for Operational Commercial Engines (OCE) legacy programs.
- Lead a team that identifies, quantifies and drives industrial risk mitigation.
- Drive alignment with production and aftermarket requirements.
- Serve as the customer interface for reporting industrial plans, part recovery and lead OCE programs industrial reviews with IPMT.
- Partner with the Program office to collectively achieve program industrial milestones/objectives to support fleet and shop visit needs.
- Resolve current part shortages in partnership with Partners & P&W, taking into account "used serviceable" part availability, third‑party material providers, repair yields, etc.
- Maintain robust processes to communicate part delivery commitments.
- Develop weekly Heat Maps that identify and quantify part risks.
- Interface with respective executives for issue mitigation.
- Interface with Aftermarket to maintain a five‑year spare part forecast.
- Develop systemic approaches to evaluate potential/future part shortages and implement early action to preclude such shortages.
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 12 years in engineering, manufacturing/shop operations, quality, supply chain, or a closely related field.
- OR Master’s degree and 10 or more years of experience in engineering, manufacturing/shop operations, quality, supply chain, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience in program management.
- Demonstrated experience developing relationships and building credibility and respect with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in leading and managing a technical team.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Degree in a STEM field.
- Technical experience in engineering change management and implementation.
- Experience using process control/Six‑Sigma and/or Lean manufacturing tools.
- Experience with SAP.
The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD – 298,800 USD.
