* What You Will Do:

*** Advanced Concepts & Technology is seeking a senior engineer to report to the Manager of Advanced Concepts.
* The successful candidate will support the Advanced Concepts group in the discovery, optimization, and analysis of new commercial and military engine concepts,
* Invent, size, optimize and analyze thermal management systems to support novel thermodynamic cycles and engine concepts,
* This position will provide the successful candidate with the flexibility to work across commercial and military organizations and make novel discoveries to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** Bachelor’s degree in engineering,
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in engineering; or a Masters degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; or a Ph.D. in a relevant field,
* Fundamental knowledge of heat transfer; heat exchanger sizing and technology; and thermal management systems,
* U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
** Qualifications We Prefer:
*** Advanced degree desirable - Engineering Masters or Ph.D.,
* Familiarity with commercial and/or military engine businesses,
* Aero engine durability experience and knowledge of aero engine durability technologies,
* Fundamental knowledge of optimization techniques and multi-disciplinary design optimization (MDO),
* Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
