Raytheon - 400 Main Street - Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on mechanical testing support for a wide range of materials used in turbine engines;
Set up, execute, and document advanced experimental and ASTM material characterization tests including wear, creep, tensile and fatigue testing;
Configure, assemble and modify complex electro-mechanical test systems and data acquisition;
Identify, diagnose, and rectify equipment and instrumentation problems to ensure test integrity;
Document detailed test procedures, conditions, and results; collaborate with engineering teams to analyze data
